General Conditions
Know your rights and obligations. Read carefully the general conditions of travel ... and bon voyage!


1. TICKETS - RESERVATIONS

Tickets are personally named, are not transferable and are valid only for the route, date and category for which they are issued.
Reservations can be made by all cooperating with Travel Agencies Company, the Port Offices, Central Offices of the Company or through the Internet.
The issue of tickets is prohibited on board and therefore to avoid unnecessary suffering passengers should proceed with the reservations and ticketing.
According to EU Directive 98/41 for safety reasons, the nominal state board is required on each route and tickets must necessarily bear the following information: Name of Passenger, Gender (male - female), age category (adult, child, infant ), type and registration number, if any.
We recommend that passengers in the issuance of tickets to inform the issuing agency for their phone number (preferably mobile) in order to be notified if any change of route eg cancelation due to bad weather etc.
In addition to the above passengers requiring SPECIAL CARE, must be reported to the issuing agent .

Children under 4 years: it is obligatory to issue a free ticket.
 

2. BOARDING PROCESS

Passengers under the Law No. 3709/2008 are required to come on board later than half an hour before the scheduled departure or if traveling by car to the point of loading at 1 hour before departure.
 

3. DEADLINE FOR ISSUING TICKETS

Tickets must be issued within the prescribed deadline date of detention, for which passengers are advised by their travel agent. Otherwise the reservation will be canceled automatically.
 

4. OPEN DATE TICKETS

Open tickets are valid for one year from date of issue. Open tickets can not be accepted for boarding, if not replaced with new tickets given out.
 

5. TICKET CANCELLATION / RETURN FARE

Ticket cancellations are made only by the issuing agency and if the originals have been submitted . Tickets can not be canceled by phone.
According to the time of cancellation the following cancellation terms:
6 days before departure: 100% refund of the ticket or converted to open date.
From 6 days up to 2 hours before departure: 50% refund of the ticket or converted to open date.
2 hours before departure and up: A 50% cancellation fee.
After departure: Tickets can not be canceled or converted to open date, and the change of date is not possible.
Especially for the periods 04/07/12 to 04/18/12 & from 01/06/12-05 / 06/12, tickets canceled without charge or converted to open date or other date at least 14 days prior to departure. From 14 days to 6 days before departure 25% cancellation fee is deducted. From 6 days before departure applies whatever the immediately preceding paragraph reads.

OPEN DATE TICKETS: Open date tickets are canceled without charge when they are initially issued as open date. When converted to open date canceled  there is a charge of 50%.
 

6. DELAY OR CANCELLATION OF DEPARTURE FOR REASONS OF FORCE MAJEURE (eg ADVERSE WEATHER CONDITIONS)

DELAYED DEPARTURE: Passengers and vehicles can be accommodated without changing their tickets.
CANCELLATION: The tickets for the canceled not apply to board and must be changed for the next scheduled departure, on availability of seats, replacing the original ticket.
CAUTION: Passengers are kindly requested in cases where bad weather delayed to communicate with the port company's offices to keep informed about the new departure time.
 

7. LOST TICKET

In case of ticket loss, to enable the passenger to travel, you should buy a new ticket. They must then inform the company in writing for the loss stating all of the lost ticket details (date of travel, route, ticket number) the number of new ticket purchased and a copy thereof.
If the ticket is not found in the records of the company as :made open or has traveled within 3 months from the date of travel, the company will replace it with a free ticket on the same route and class of the lost one.
The details of a  lost ticket can be found at the issuing office or to any of the port agencies.A loss statement will be filed or sent by fax to the company headquarters.
 

8. SCHEDULES

The company will make every effort to adhere to the schedules listed in the brochure. But reserves the right to modify them if necessary.
 

10. CONTROL ON BOARD

The Financial Officers carry out ticket controls at embarkation and throughout the journey. When checking the passengers are obliged to show their tickets and proof of deductions, if issued a discounted ticket .

 

11. BAGGAGE

Luggage should be placed in designated areas of the ship under the crew's instructions. Baggage must not contain valuable items. These items can be delivered to the Chief Purser for safekeeping.
 

12. PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES

There are specially designed cabins and a place to accommodate passengers with special needs. The number of such cabins is limited so it is necessary to reserve in advance.
 

13. ACCOMMODATION FOR PETS

There are special cabins and living quarters specially shaped for pets. The number of these cabins is limited, so it is necessary to reserve your seat early.
For sanitary reasons pets cannot stay in other cabins (except the special ones), and are not allowed in any public indoor spaces of the ship. Dogs when they move (on a leash and escort) should necessarily wear a muzzle.
Passengers traveling with pets should always have with them the updated health documents of their pets and are responsible for the care, safety and hygiene. Unaccompanied pets are not accepted.
 

14. SERVICE LOST

If during the journey passengers have lost or found an item, please advise immediately and before they disembark at the reception of the ship.After dis embarkation, you can contact the Headquarters of the company.
 

15. FOR YOUR OWN SAFETY

For security reasons, all passengers and items brought on board may be checked. Persons who refuse to comply may be denied access to the ship,  and will be reported to local port authorities.

Passengers must present to the authorized personnel of the ship, ticket, passport, identity card or other valid travel documents. The company reserves the right to deny boarding if the passenger does not possess valid travel documents and can not prove beyond doubt their identity.


After boarding is not allowed to disembark without the permission of the responsible officer.
If the passenger wishes to cancel the trip after embarkation, must carry their luggage outside the ship and the vehicle (if possible).
If you carry a gun, please register it at embarkation.
